Ruach

dverse  Quadrille #21 – Take a Breath   Posted by

And ruach blew gently across the land
stirring the leaves, swaying the grasses.
The deer, the lamb, the salmon, the finch
the trees, the waves, and every inch
of everything is holy. Sanctified. Set apart.
It is not mine and not yours, but borrowed.

*The Hebrew ruach means “wind,” “breath,” or “spirit.”
