Qube #2 contemporary modern metal sculpture by sculptor Bruce Gray
I’ve looked at it from every angle
top and bottom and all around
and still I’m puzzled by what it
means. Is it merely what it seems
or some deeper import beyond
its parts. He calls it art and in some
way it touches my heart with
those stainless steel geometric
shapes tumbling apart or perhaps
together. Becoming or unbecoming.
That is exactly how I feel much
of the time. I walk away succumbing
to its power of contradictory truth.
Miz Quickly Prompt 17
There is an object in the center of the room.
Artists surround it like numbers on a clock face.
Circle the room, looking at the object and the representations, then write about the object.
Art is always a challenge to interpret. Because the artist may say one thing, but be hiding another. Some poetry is like that too 😉

“Becoming or unbecoming.” — YES. I see this, too, Debi. Loved your perspective here, and how it touched you personally.
